At Home Retreat - Abiding in Emptiness: Relaxing the Mind; Opening the Heart
Mary Aubry
August 21 - 28, 2020
During this at-home retreat, students will be encouraged to maintain continuity of mindfulness throughout the retreat to create optimal conditions for a gradual entry into the spacious, empty nature of mind, as taught by the Buddha in the Pali discourses. Prior jhana experience is welcome but is not necessary. Mary will offer instructions, dharma talks, and interviews. Each day will include periods of sitting meditation, walking meditation, Brahma Vihara meditation, and Q&A. This retreat is for experienced meditators who have attended at least two prior seven-day silent meditation retreats.
