Remote: At Home Retreat - Intimacy and Awakening: An Insight Meditation Retreat

“Enlightenment, “ said Zen master Dogen, “is intimacy with all things.” This retreat is an opportunity to explore the meaning and implications of this powerful statement. The primary focus will be the practice of sitting and walking meditation in virtual community. There will be dharma talks, meditation instruction, and Q & A with the teacher. The schedule will allow enough flexibility to integrate the practices into daily life and to allow participants to make personal decisions about how to best use the structure provided. We’ll also do some guided meditations and interactive exercises that are designed to deepen our understanding of the role of intimacy in our personal lives and in the process of spiritual awakening.
