April 12-18, 2021 On-Site Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Southern Dharma in April, 2021. Complete this registration and deposit to secure your volunteer spot. Please note if you would like to volunteer with us for multiple weeks you have to register and pay for each program week separately. Registration is limited to 4 volunteers per week.

Dana deposit (no meals provided): $135/week. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Email registrar@southerndharma.org if you are unable to pay this deposit.

An additional payment of $75/week will be requested from volunteers who would like to take advantage of very simple on-site meals. We will offer 3 meals/day available upon request. We will do our very best to keep food costs low so that this is an accessible experience, no matter your financial situation. No one will be turned away or denied food for lack of funds.

Check-in will take place on Mondays, between 4:30 and 6:30pm. You are welcome to come to Southern Dharma earlier in the day on Monday but we will not necessarily be able to provide access to your lodging any earlier than 4:30pm. If you need to arrive later than 6:30pm, please arrange this with us separately.

Check-out will take place on Sundays, by 11am sharp. After you have packed your belongings and cleaned and disinfected your lodging, you are welcome to stay on campus as long as you choose to on Sunday. Please help us manage the process of preparing for our next volunteers by observing the check-out time on the day that you are leaving.

Bookings will be processed in the order in which registrations are received. If your choice of week is full, you are welcome to join the waitlist.

Upon departure, you will be invited to make a dana contribution to the Center. Your initial deposit can be used toward that end. Partial or full refunds of your deposit will also be available at that time.

Please note that the $135 dana deposit is only refundable after participation in volunteering. This deposit is not refundable in the case of a cancellation. Meal plan charges can be refunded for cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival date. Southern Dharma will not issue any refunds for cancellations made 7 days or less before arrival date.
