Insight meditation teaches us a radical new way of knowing ourselves and the world we live in. This retreat will be an invitation to cultivate intuitive wisdom, a faculty of inner guidance that plays a critical role in the process of spiritual awakening. Our primary focus will be the practice of sitting and walking meditation in Noble Silence. There will be dharma talks, meditation instruction, and small group interviews with the teacher. In addition, there will be some guided meditations and interactive exercises designed to deepen our understanding of this innate capacity to experience what the Buddha called “the sweet joy of the way.”
