Dear Dharma Friends,

I invite you to come together and take refuge in the practice of metta, on behalf of one’s self and all beings.

During this tender time of uncertainty, rapid change, and disturbing instability in our world, we are experiencing increasing stress. This leaves us vulnerable to getting lost in the shadow play of fear and ill will – that lends our minds to a negative world view.

Metta represents one of the most hopeful and protective aspects of our human nature. When cultivated, the practice of metta awakens powerful healing energies, manifesting as forces of inner strength and balance. As a result, the turbulent, fearful heart is transformed into a refuge of increasing calm and ease of well-being.

At-home retreats offer an opportunity to carry our practice over the threshold into every-day, moment to moment living with increasing care and clarity of intention. This strengthens confidence in the ability to cultivate presence of mind and breathe under all circumstances.

The general schedule will be held in noble silence and include metta contemplations, instructions, sitting & walking meditation, a morning and afternoon discussion period, At home practice periods and an evening dharma talk. ALL ARE WELCOME.
