At Home Retreat - Insight Dialogue: Sheltering in Solitude and Communion
Phyllis Hicks and Florence Meleo-Meyer
July 8 - 11, 2020
In these times of social distancing and sheltering in place the practice of listening deeply and befriending each other and our own experiences is both healing and liberating. Insight Dialogue, an interpersonal meditation practice, brings the Dhamma to life relationally in the body and heart as intuitive wisdom. In the good company of other meditators, we begin to realize the power of solitude and communion in our lives.
Meditation, wisdom, and relationship – form the three bases of Insight Dialogue and are the foundation of unbinding from habitual tensions that maintain suffering. Alone and together, we cultivate new pathways that release us freshly in the ever unfolding moment.
With periods of silent practice, meditating in dialogue, Dhamma talks, and mindful movement, we will explore this shared human experience and touch the possibility of awakening to loving presence as resilience.
Prerequisite: Prior Insight Dialogue and silent meditation experience.
