In this at-home retreat, Dorlop Dr. Lye will share with participants ways to develop and abide in the “divine-dwellings” of maitri (loving-kindness) and karuna (compassion). This retreat will be anchored by the meditation practice of the Buddha of Compassion – known variously as Avalokiteshvara, Chenrezik or Guanyin and this Buddha’s 6-Syllable Mantra (om mani padme hung). This mantra is “the call of compassion” – it is love and compassion calling us home. Are you responding?

Retreat will have a balance of teachings, instructions, guided group meditation, and personal practice time. There will be opportunities to schedule short interviews with Dr. Lye.
