[DAYLONG] Southern Dharma Daylong Work Retreat
August 3, 2025
Join Southern Dharma staff as we work to improve West Road & Dharma Path.
West Road, Southern Dharma’s great artery that makes retreats possible, requires regular maintenance to ensure retreatants make it safely to the center. After summers rains, we will spend the day clearing this path, leveling sections of the road and emptying drainage ditches, french drains, and culverts to minimize washouts and make a safer route for all retreatants. Silence will lift at 12:30 and we will spend a leisurely lunch in connection and conversation before returning to work together.
Participants are welcome to bring their own metal rakes, shovels, and mattocks to use in addition to Southern Dharma’s collection of tools.
