Meredith McIntosh

Meredith McIntosh (she/her) is a long-time student of Tangen Harada Roshi at Bukkokuji in Japan. She is a certified Alexander Technique teacher, a NC licensed massage therapist, and a teaching and performing musician. Both her self-study and teaching are rooted in the common ground between Zen practice and body-mind/movement awareness in daily activities and the performing arts.

Meredith’s teaching fosters a spirit of exploration, curiosity and non-judgment. In her brochure she states: “We spend a great deal of time and effort regretting the past and worrying about the future. When we regain freedom and choose how we are doing, what we are doing, while we are doing it, we fully embody the present moment….life as it is”.
